This is an AMAZING new band comprised of serious talent with years of experience. We were so busy dancing to literally every single song that we barely took any videos to share—they are that good. The music is incredibly fun and inspiring to dance to. Every member shines: The vocals are sultry The bass is gripping The drums are dramatic The lead guitar and keyboard player are masterful! We’d like to introduce you to a powerful new force on the live music scene – Funky Junction Band – a stellar intergenerational ensemble of some of the most passionate, soul-driven pro musicians on the East Coast, led by the legendary vocalist Teddy B. Though newly formed, FJB comes with decades of collective experience touring and performing on national and international stages and has already emerged as a force to be reckoned with. Forget the horns… our sound is rich, layered, and utterly unique. It is a luxurious tapestry of dual keyboards and rhythmic guitars, an electrifying bass, all anchored by the funkiest drummer who holds down the groove seamlessly.
Anyone with the pleasure of being in Teddy B.’s orbit knows he is a force of human nature, with an infectious energy and charming, inviting stage presence. an artist gifted with a 1st tenor natural voice, Teddy’s career spans 50+ years of actively delivering electrifying performances to audiences throughout the country.
